Summer Flounder, Scup, and Black Sea Bass Monitoring Committee

The Mid-Atlantic Fishery Management Council's Summer Flounder, Scup, and Black Sea Bass Monitoring Committee (MC) will meet on Thursday, July 28, 2022 from 9:00 a.m. to 1:00 p.m. The meeting will be held via webinar.

The MC will review previously adopted 2023 commercial and recreational Annual Catch Limits (ACLs), Annual Catch Targets (ACTs), commercial quotas, and recreational harvest limits (RHLs) for summer flounder, scup, and black sea bass and recommend changes as appropriate. In addition, the MC should review commercial management measures for all three species and recommend changes if needed. During this meeting, the MC will consider recent fishery performance as well as recommendations from the Advisory Panel, Scientific and Statistical Committee, and Council staff.
