The South Atlantic Fishery Management Council will hold a scoping webinar on the Coastal Migratory Pelagics Amendment 31 on August 15, 2017 at 6:00 PM. The presentation, Q&A, and public comment session will be repeated again at 7:00 PM or later, depending on the end time of the first webinar.
The amendment proposes alternatives for cobia management, including continuing joint management measures with the Atlantic States Marine Fisheries Commission (ASMFC) or the complete transfer of Atlantic cobia management jurisdiction to the (ASMFC). The Council will hold a scoping webinar on the amendment in August.
