Ken Neill

Virginia - Appointed At-Large Member (1st term, Exp. 2025)

Dr. Ken Neill is a dentist who practices in Yorktown, Virginia thus his boat name, “Healthy Grin”. He serves on a variety of boards and fishery management advisory groups. He is Past-President of the Peninsula Salt Water Sport Fisherman’s Association, and has served as an Associate Commissioner of the Virginia Marine Resources Commission, Commissioner of the Potomac River Fisheries Commission and is a member of the Virginia Saltwater Fishing Tournament Committee. Dr. Neill is a former member of the Atlantic Highly Migratory Species Advisory Panel for the National Marine Fisheries Service and participates in numerous tagging studies and works closely with fishery scientists. He is a recipient of IGFA’s Conservation Award and is an IGFA Representative and is the Chair of the IGFA Conservation Committee, North American Council. The Healthy Grin crew has been featured in numerous publications and television shows. Photography from the Healthy Grin is widely published and numerous annual state species awards have been won and multiple state and IGFA all-tackle world record catches have been made on the Healthy Grin.
